Anatomy of Projection: The Figure as Both Canvas and Subject
Project Type
Projected Forms is an exploration of the female figure as both canvas and subject. Using carefully designed projected patterns—ranging from organic textures to geometric light, shadow, and abstract motifs—the body becomes a living surface where imagery and anatomy merge. As light moves across skin, familiar contours dissolve into layered compositions, transforming the human form into a dynamic interplay of shape, rhythm, and illusion. This series is not about decoration, but dialogue: between body and projection, softness and structure, presence and impermanence. Each image reveals how projected pattern can accentuate curves, fracture silhouettes, and suggest new visual narratives upon the figure. The result is a collection that blurs the line between photography, sculpture, and painting—inviting the viewer to see the nude not simply as form, but as an evolving visual landscape shaped by light.
